Murphy, Blumenthal, Esty To Host Conference On Federal Response To Gun Violence
Sens. Blumenthal and Murphy and Rep. Esty, whose district includes Newtown, announced plans to host a conference next Thursday to discuss Washington’s response to gun violence.
Panelists for the conference have not yet been announced but will comprise various stakeholders including elected officials, members of law enforcement, gun owners, mental health experts, and citizens affected by gun violence.
The event will be held about 10 miles from Newtown, at Western Connecticut State University. Space is limited, but the event is open to the press and will be live-streamed online.

Once these evil, wicked assault guns are banned, I’m calling the police on my neighbor who has these weapons so they can be collected along with all his other guns. Then my family will be safe from these things.
