No More Tennis Shoes: New Esty Ad Skewers Roberti
Roberti? The Esty campaign, flush with endorsements from newspapers, sees danger in the young man with little political experience. Her new ad portrays Dan Roberti (and doesn’t mention Chris Donovan) as the modern day Manchurian Candidate from Kent.
This should set things up for an interesting discussion at tomorrow’s debate in Litchfield.
Esty, by the way, has the most money to spend over the final days of the campaign. Check out Kauffman’s new breakdown.

Yeah, so which powerful Manchurian lobbyist is the Roberti puppeteer? Where’s Frank Sinatra when you need him? Give us a hint.
That would be his dad, I think. Not that I buy the idea that Roberti would be wholely owned by his father, but it is true that without his father’s connections to old Democratic money, Roberti would have no candidacy.
Thank you for using the term tennis shoes. I’ve never particularly likes the East Coast term “sneakers.”
Esty further attacked Roberti today at the last 5th District Dem. Debate in Litchfield. http://youtu.be/-7A1LaTEXIE
