One Week Before Primary: 5 Questions
1. How deep will Dan Roberti dig? The Kid from Kent with a guilded working class bio has dumped a cool quarter million into his 5th District campaign in recent days
2. Will silence be golden? We’ve got two candidates, liberal Chris Donovan in the 5th and Republican jobs czar Linda McMahon who don’t speak to the media. If this is a winning strategy we are entering a whole new world.
3. Is the Elizabeth Esty surge real? Will an Ivy League/soccer mom/centrist Democrat who served a mere single term in the state legislature grab the Democratic nomination in the 5th? That’s a national story.
4. Can Chris Murphy stop Linda McMahon’s it’s-about-the-jobs-stupid campaign? Mrs. WWE has a brilliantly timed (if blandly simplistic) strategy of making her pitch all about jobs. Murph continues his on-the-job photo op tour of factories and workplaces today in New Haven.
5. Is anyone watching Mark Greenberg? The Litchfield real estate baron is closing with an aggressive strategy of bringing out the conservative voters. He’s launched his first attack ad and today will bring inDick Morris in a paid appearance.

Chris Murphy ia a natural born job killer. His votes in the US House haven’t added a single new job in Connecticut. If you vote for Murphy you are voting against your own best interests. Think about it!
Mark Greenberg is a boy scout. No scandals. He’s the man best prepared to speak for the 5th District in the House of Representatives. Trust Mark. He’s not in it for himself.
Excellent Article
1) 250k is a lot of money to lose, could be planting see for run in a few years
2) Silence is golden when you have Linda’s Millions. Donovan probably should have said more but with FBI on trail he’s scared silent. Linda Win, Donovan lose to Rising Star Esty.
3) Esty is for real, Donovan scandal has helped people ask “Who is Esty?”
4) Murphy will get beat by linda and her dollars
5) No I dont think anyone is watching Greenberg. Too much scandal going on
1)He just might be silly (and wealthy) enough to continue to throw cash around.
2)No. The primary should be the end of Donovan. McMahon will likely stay around until November.
3)Yes. Seems she is the likely winner.
4)It doesn’t much matter. Connecticut is tired of her.
5)Not much. Roraback is the best candidate in any of the districts.

Greenberg may well win the primary. He cannot possibly win the general election in a blue state. He is far too conservative. He is the original definition of a sleaze and the media won’t report on him.
Greenberg owes back taxes but he can spend over a million dollars to buy an election. Worse than that, the media covers it up and won’t report on the back taxes. This is so a weak candidate in the 5th will win the republican primary and the democrat can sail to victory.
Dick Morris was PAID to endorse Greenberg and give the speech on his behalf. He prostitued himself yet again!
