Ragin’ Cajun Backs Roberti In Last-Second Endorsement

Few people knew exactly when it was coming or were able to ask any questions, but Friday afternoon James Carville made it official: He’s behind Dan Roberti in the Fifth District Democratic primary race, now in its final days.

Like other high-profile endorsements the political newcomer has reaped, this one included lots of praise about his personality and volunteer work.

But many reporters had some trouble digging deeper than that–the campaign originally scheduled a conference call with Carville, pushed it back indefinitely due to technically difficulties, then scheduled it for a later time but couldn’t notify some reporters until after it ended.
