   Worse shape? Why is a slight shrinkage in population a bad thing? We need to get over the notion that endless growth is necessary and look for ways to stabilize our numbers. Resources are not infinite.

     There was no shrinkage. The numbers show that Connecticut population *increased* from 2010 to 2012.

     3,574,097 – CT population in 2010

     3,590,347 – CT population in 2012
