Secretary of the State Denise Merrill reminds us there’s still time to sign up to vote:

“This year, some of the most closely watched primary contests in the country are happening right here in Connecticut,” said Secretary Merrill, Connecticut’s chief elections official. “I encourage all registered voters to come out to the polls on Tuesday and take part in deciding which names appear on the ballot this November. All eligible, Connecticut citizens need to register in-person at town offices by Monday at noon in order to have a say in who will be on the ballot this November.  Unnafiliated voters can also enroll by Monday at noon, and 17 year-olds are also allowed to vote in this primary if they will turn 18 on or before November 6th.  We have crucial issues such as the economy and our state budget at stake, so next Tuesday is a great opportunity to make your voice heard.”
