Rennie: Sweet Deal For U.S. Rep. Larson’s Wife
From Kevin Rennie:
When Connecticut Innovations Inc., a quasi-public state agency, sought an executive assistant to its executive director and CEO in the spring, 199 hopefuls applied. The winner: Leslie Larson, wife of seven-term U.S. Rep. John Larson. The documents Mrs. Larson submitted with her application stretch our faith in fairness.

More Collen Flangan’ and patronage jobs? Egad. Say it’s not true!
It’s good to see the Courant is done obsessing over Rowland’s suspect DEP appointments and moved the dial forward 15 year.
A great article on Rowland’s patronage system from 1997 and the Courant.

It appears Press Secretaries have more than doubled their patronage gig salaries since then. John C. Chaplin Jr settled for a mere $65,000 in 1997.
It seems like the writing is on the wall.larson needs to join his pals Donavon and Dodd.
