Rep. DeLauro On Need For More Sandy Relief

Along with U.S. Rep John Larson, DeLauro joined a group of legislators Thursday to announce legislation that would provide tax relief for victims of Storm Sandy in areas designated as federal disaster areas by the president. Among other things, the proposed legislation would allow individuals to deduct the cost of uninsured losses and businesses to deduct the cost of disaster recovery.
