The U.S. Supreme Court is to release its decision on the federal health care law this morning and the decision–whatever it is–should draw fast and intense reactions from health care experts, writers, bloggers, politicians and candidates who have their eye on an office for the November elections.

According to SCOTUSblog, a highly-regarded blog maintained by lawyers, reporters who have covered the high court and former Supreme Court clerks, the decision is expected to come out at about 10:15 a.m. ET. The decision might have multiple parts, as the case was heard in four segments during oral arguments in March.

Whatever the decision is, Capitol Watch will be tracking and putting together reactions from Connecticut’s officials and candidates throughout the day, so check here to find out what everyone has to say about the highly anticipated decision.

In particular, we’ll be watching reactions from candidates in the U.S. Senate race and the Fifth District congressional race, both of which will see heated primary contests for both Republicans and Democrats in just six weeks. The health care decision–and whether those candidates agree with the Court or not–could weigh heavily on voters minds as they choose candidates for the general election in November.
