U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder isn’t the only top federal official in the state today. Federal Emergency Management Agency Administrator Craig Fugate will tour storm damage in Fairfield County today.

Fugate is expected to start in Milford at 11 a.m. Then he’ll travel to Fairfield, Bridgeport and Norwalk. He will hold a news conference with Gov. Dannel P. Malloy in Bridgeport this afternoon.

Malloy will spend the morning in New Haven with Holder, who is in the state to unveil a new federal initiative to reduce gun violence.
