Gun owners u know what u have to do the next election.!!!lets stand and let it be heard next election . I hope all the gun manufactur move out of this state. Like stag arms, colt. Which brings in 1.8billon dollars a year to this state. Moved at let Connecticut suffer.

Actually, Dennis, may I suggest that you move out of this state? We parents have suffered enough, with your prediliction on a robust and muscular interpretation of the second amendment; one which you somehow think trumps our rights to life and liberty.

    2. The truth about the gun industry in CT

Incorrect, Dennis. Connecticut state tax revenue from the firearms industry is only about $81 million per year.

“Jake McGuigan, (NSSF) director of government relations, told state lawmakers last year that the firearms industry has a $1.3 billion impact on Connecticut, including 5,400 jobs and $81 million in tax revenue.”

I have maintained that to effect important gun control legislation, we must first break the culture of of guns. The culture still exists but the legislation goes a long way to making our society s safer place to live.

Let us hope that other states take our led and enact stronger laws limiting the possession of assault rifles and handguns. perhaps the culture is breaking when a large percentage of NRA members want reform.

We must not go back. We must continue the struggle for sanity itself.

And a point to make about the next election; we, the overwhelming majority who demand gun reform, will never forget nor desert those legislators who heard We, The People.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
