Murphy will be an immediate star in the US Senate, as its only member under the age of forty!

As the Senate is a legislative body in which it takes at least two terms, or a dozen years, to gain any real seniority, I can’t believe the media isn’t covering that angle.

Heck, Murphy could be a serious contender for the White House in 10-15 years. How cool would that be?

What changed? How about it being a media creation that the race was ever close?

Did Connecticut suddenly become something other that a slavishly Democrat State?

Nothing changed. Murphy was going to win from the moment we knew he would be on the ballot with a “D” next to his name. In fact, Murphy would not have even needed his name on the ballot, as long as he got credit for the “D” votes.
