When The Going Gets Weird …
FROM the WWE’s ever-watchful minister of information, Brian Flinn. (Stephanie McMahon is the daughter of Linda McMahon, former CEO of WWE and candidate for U.S. Senate).
More craziness from a senate race sliding into the muck:
Journal Inquirer Gives CT Journalists a Bad Name
Today Chris Powell, Managing Editor of the Journal Inquirer, recklessly and irresponsibly posted a photograph that falsely identified Stephanie McMahon, WWE Executive Vice President, Creative, as a woman that appears to be topless. The accompanying article also inaccurately stated that Stephanie McMahon was encouraged to “strip naked herself for the cheers of thousands in the coliseum.” Only after a reader posted a comment online did Mr. Powell reach out to WWE hours later for confirmation as to whether or not it was Stephanie McMahon. Mr. Powell and the Journal Inquirer’s clear disdain and vitriol toward WWE must be clouding his professional judgment and severely compromising the newspaper’s integrity.
