Republican 5th District congressional candidate Lisa Wilson-Foley filed her second quarter campaign finance report with the Federal Election Commission this weekend, showing that she has $454,183 on hand with one month remaining until the primary.

The second quarter report, which takes into account contributions and spending that occurred from April 29 to June 30, shows that Wilson-Foley raised $52,503 from individuals and political action committees during that time.

Most of that money — $42,119 — were from individuals like William Petit Jr., the lone survivor of the 2007 Cheshire home invasion, and former 2nd District congressional candidate Janet Peckinpaugh. Some of the $9,500 from political action committees was from Maggie’s List, a political action committee dedicated to electing conservative women to federal office.

Maggie’s List endorsed Wilson’Foley for office in June.

During the second quarter, Wilson-Foley loaned her campaign $65,000, bringing the total amount of money she has loaned  to $585,000.

In addition, Wilson-Foley also made an $884 contribution to her own campaign during the quarter.

Wilson-Foley will face Justin Bernier, Mark Greenberg and Andrew Roraback in the 5th District primary Aug. 14.

Vote Justin Bernier in. He’s the only candidate worth having in the 5th District. His values are strong and he’s a stand up guy – something missing in the current congress.

Good Luck Lisa. We hope you win.

A fool and her husbands money are soon parted.
