The city’s internal audit commission is launching a review of Hartford’s 311 Call Center.

Deputy Chief Auditor Craig Trujillo wrote in a memo to Council President Shawn Wooden Friday that the commission intends to “evaluate and test … the degree of compliance with established operating policy and procedures.”

From the memo:

“At your request and as a follow up to a recent meeting, I would like to confirm that we will be starting an audit of the 311 Call Center Operations.  The purpose of our examination will be to evaluate and test operating controls,  311 call workflows and the related resolution process, the degree of compliance with established operating policy and procedures, and to recommend improvements where required.”
