Capital Prep’s Season Ends In Disappointment

The football team of Capital Prep/Classical Magnet/Achievement First was the top seed in Class S, but fell Tuesday to Bloomfield in the quarterfinals.

“They wanted to make us throw the ball,” Capital Prep coach Chris Fulton said, “and we just couldn’t. They got us up front, we thought we could handle them up front. I knew this would be a tough game. … We came a long way. We didn’t get what we came to get, obviously, but it was still a good season.”
