This just in to Cityline: Corporation Counsel Saundra Kee Borges is relinquishing her duties as Hartford’s interim chief operating officer, effective immediately.

Albert Ilg has been asked to take over full-time duties as chief operating officer until the city hires a permanent replacement, Mayor Pedro Segarra wrote in an internal memo Friday afternoon.

Former chief operating officer David Panagore left Hartford City Hall about a year ago.

Kee Borges will continue her duties as corporation counsel, Segarra wrote. She and Ilg will work on the transition through next week.
