The Rev. Henry Brown and Mothers United Against Violence will hold a vigil Sunday for two Hartford teens who died in a car crash.

The crash happened Thursday at the intersection of Main and Uccello streets. Connell Chambers, 18, and Rubbie Laguerre, 15, both of the city’s North End, died when their speeding car slammed into a building and burst into flames.

The vigil will begin at 4 p.m. at the crash site (corner of Main & Uccello). All are welcome to attend.

This is not the time for judgement or sarcasm but a time to mourn, reflect, as well as rejoice to promote positive thinking and behaviors. My son attended school with Connell and is having a really difficult time….please remember to promote positivity – school, workplace, home, bus, wherever; make it as part of your routine. God Bless.
