Don’t it strike you kinda sad when you hear our song?
Somebody asked me if this is the first time I’ve been quoted in an FEC complaint.
I’d have to think.
Not WTIC’s finest — or happiest –hour. People who paid attention in 2008 will remember that I spoke no evil of WTIC and asked my fans to be kind to the people who answered the phones. I still have great fondness for many of the people there, but I confess, this episode has stretched my patience with WTIC to a snapping point. The editorial is not wrong. This is the station with the longest, proudest history in the state. The story of WTIC is in many ways the story of Connecticut radio. And this is not a proud moment.
