    Recognized it from first two notes in the bass line intro. An underrated group, but I’m not sure if this was an underrated song. Worked well, though.

    Watched Krispy Kreme make his big speech in Tampa. And, of course, preferred Turtles to Monkees in LBJ days.

      Dolenz had such a perfect pop voice for the moment that the other Monkees would insist he be given certain lead vocals…when they smelled a hit.

    I meant a puerile comparison between Gov. Christie and Mark Volman. Apologies to the Fat American Community. I bet Frank Z. could have made excellent use of Mr. Dolenz, id not the rest of the Monkees.
