With the exception of The New Criterion, I don’t get mags at the door any more. If it were, like Art in America, Art News, National Review, The American Spectator, The New Yorker, and Commentary, circulated by the West Hartford Public Library I probably wouldn’t get it either.
Speaking of The New Yorker, is it not plain that it’s a mere shadow of the thing my father used to subscribe to? Aside from its unfortunate political orientation, it just isn’t as substantial, funny, or glamorous.
