Very Sad About Tom D’Amore

by Categorized: Uncategorized Date:

As I’ve said many times: There are people who think they’re living in a drama, and there are people who think they’re living in a comedy. I prefer the latter kind. Tom D’Amore was the latter kind.

I am probably the only person who thought this, but he always reminded me a little of Bob Newhart. He had the same deadpan delivery, and he was very funny.

He was also exactly the kind of guy everybody claims to want these days — the guy who could play the partisan game without making it personal or vicious or polarizing. Bill Curry, as usual, said it better today: Tom had many opponents and very few enemies.
