This is incredible.

Irrespective of whether you agree with its point, please marvel at the thundering stupidity of Romney staffers who made a Venn diagram without understanding what a Venn diagram is.

Saw this via Ezra Klein last night. Incomprehensible but loving it. Thanks for spreading the word!

Wiki has the definitive word on Venn Diagrams and Euler Diagrams on one classic image:

I’m waiting the read the blow back on this.

I’m fascinated by California’s legislative session which is just begging for the Romney campaign’s attention in The Swing States.

I think the campaign will have more to do the California values thing than Venn diagrams. Mark Leno might be Romney’s best friend :)

The bill — SB1476 — would apply equally to men and women, and to homosexual or heterosexual relationships. Proposed by State Sen. Mark Leno, D-San Francisco, it has passed the Senate and awaits an Assembly vote.

Leno also proposed SB 1140 which would amend California’s family code to define marriage as a “personal relation arising out of a civil, and not religious, contract.” Leno favors the state recognize group marriage.<<

Yup. When I go to the voting rig in November one of the things I’m going to be evaluating is whether Barack Insane O’Kenya is more knowledgeable about graphic/logic arts.
It pretty much goes without saying that Dem Presidents are smarter than Repub ones, going back at least to Jimmy Carter in 1976. (I’m so glad I never voted for Jimmy. Clean Gene McCarthy got mine that year.) In the comparison of Barry and Willard it seems to me the traditional lefty propaganda play is a bit more difficult to pull off. (Not that it would matter if we were to see Obama’s grades; it didn’t when we compared W.’s to Jean Effing Kerry’s.)
I’m sure our Chicago Organizer is not stupid; you have to be brilliant to devise Obamacare. I can’t even read it to find out what’s in it. But, are we really to believe that he’s a lot smarter than Romney? More impressive resume? Pshaw. But, as long as we are on the topic, does the Romney outfit claim their diagram is a Venn one?

  5. It is hilarious, but I’m afraid pointing out that it’s not, in fact, a Venn diagram just plays into responses like “you elitists who learnt something in school are fancy-pants snobs and we don’t care what kind of German circles you draw — Obama din’t make a job for me!”

Hilarious? I’ll give you mildly humorous, like when Obama referred to “Polish death camps” or when he referred to the “Austrian” language.
Actually, not that I ever knew, but John Venn was British.
