The New York Times has a front page story today about a law firm in Atlanta that requires a bachelor’s degree for not just paralegals (not uncommon in that field) but also the receptionist, file clerks and an in-house courier.

My reporting in Connecticut doesn’t suggest that companies are requiring bachelor’s degrees for administrative assistant jobs, but that starting wages are dropping for those jobs. What do you see?
