Indeed.com says job openings are anemic in Hartford
Indeed.com, which gets 54 percent of online job-hunting traffic, did an end-of-year analysis of job listings.
Not every listing leads to an outside hire, of course, or is ultimately filled.
The fastest growth in listings were in Salt Lake City, Buffalo, Houston, Indianapolis, and Columbus, Ohio. The first four had double-digit increases, and Columbus had a 9 percent increase.
Hartford had less than one percent growth in listings. But at least it wasn’t Milwaukee, Virginia Beach, Detroit, Washington, D.C., or Cleveland, all of which had double-digit drops in listings.
