The Hartford Public Library will host an information session May 18th outlining the demand for police officers, nurses, machinists and other jobs considered ‘middle skill’ jobs, as part of an ongoing project between WNPR, The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, and the library, among others.

As part of the session, attendees can learn how to get into training programs for some of these jobs. The library will also serve a light lunch.

Admission is free, but registration is required for the program, which runs from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Online registration is available here.
