Unemployment Benefits Call Center Open Monday
Although state offices are generally closed Monday for Presidents’ Day, Connecticut Department of Labor’s call centers that help people filing a new unemployment benefits claim, or re-opening a claim will be open.
The call centers will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The service has a variety of phone numbers, depending on your location, available here.
“The beginning of the year is traditionally a very busy time for us in terms of unemployment claims due to seasonal shutdowns or layoffs,” said State Labor Commissioner Sharon M. Palmer.
