The Capital Grille is the second venue to open at Front Street. Last year, Spotlight Theatres, Inc. opened a four-screen movie theater.

Other signed tenants include Infinity Music Hall & Bistro, whose space is under construction with an expected opening in the spring. Last month, Front Street developer HB Nitkin Group said it had signed a third tenant, Ted’s Montana Grill, also opening in the spring.

The Capital Grille will be able to seat 239 guests among the main dining room and three private dining rooms. The restaurant also will include a lounge that opens up to a covered outdoor patio. Capital Grille also will offer private wine locker membership.

And how many years has it been since the convention center opened. Remember all of Johnny Boy’s promises about what the convention center would do for Hartford. Still waiting
