CohnReznick, the super-regional accounting firm, will consolidate its offices in Glastonbury and Farmington and relocate them, according to a broker presentation at today’s CBRE/NE commercial real estate outlook conference in Hartford.
CBRE Broker Michael Puzzo did not name the location but noted, “an announcement is expected soon.” He declined further comment after the conference.
Frank Longobardi, managing partner for New England and the Glastonbury office, did not return a call seeking comment Friday.
The disclosure comes three days after Hartford Mayor Pedro E. Segarra told business professionals at the monthly “Rising Star” breakfast that a “major company will be relocating hundreds of jobs to the capital city in 2014.”
City officials have refused to identify the company.
CohnReznick was formed in the 2012 merger of J.H. Cohn LLP, which had five offices in Connecticut and Springfield, Mass. and Reznick Group, P.C., based in Maryland.
