Connecticut Association Of Realtors Names New CEO
The Connecticut Association of Realtors has a new chief executive, bringing more than two decades of experience leading a statewide realtor association.
Cindy Butts served as CEO of the Maine Association of Realtors for 24 years, leaving that post in May to relocate to Connecticut where her husband John has worked for the past four years.
Butts replaces Robert Kennedy who retired at the end of last year. Kennedy served as CEO for 15 years.
In Maine, Butts’ responsibilities included managing seven local associations and councils, plus a statewide commercial real estate board. She also served as corporate secretary for the association’s affordable housing foundation subsidiary.
Previously, Butts worked in the Chicago and Washington D.C. offices of the National Association of Realtors and was a past chairman of NAR’s association executive committees.
Cindy and John Butts live in South Windsor with their two children, Annie and Michael.
