Former Owner Of Hartford’s Capitol West Had Troubles In NYC
The following blog post is a few weeks old, but it reports that Joshua Guttman, the former owner of the now-demolished Capitol West in Hartford, still has trouble in New York City.
The Real Deal reports that Guttman faced claims of shoddy construction a luxury condominium building in New York City.
The suit, which had dragged on since 2007, sought damages from the building’s notorious developer Joshua Guttman, and “certain affiliates,” for improper roofing and waterproofing at the building, according to a statement from the board.

In Hartford, the Capitol West building was demolished in 2012, after years of wrangling with Guttman.
