Renovations to the former Sheraton hotel on East River Drive include upgrades to both guestrooms and public spaces, according to owner The Procaccianti Group, based in Providence, R.I.

The rooms include new carpets, wall coverings, furniture and fixtures. Public areas such as the main lobby, registration desk, indoor pool, fitness center and business center all have been renovated, Johan Liebenberg, the hotel’s general manager, said.

The hotel also has 8,500 square feet of updated function space.
