Forget the red heart-shaped boxes of chocolates or the syrupy greeting cards.

TopTenRealEstateDeals.com is out with its top ten list of most romantic homes for sale around the world  — and the Connecticut home of Katherine Hepburn comes in at number two, edged out only by the Coco Chanel Estate in the South of France.

Hepburn’s renovated Old Saybrook home is on the market for $18 million and was at the center of quite a stir last month when rumors heated up that President Obama might be interested in buying the place. (The White House squelched the speculation quickly.)
