Master Plan For UConn Tech Park Unveiled
Thursday’s unveiling of a master plan for a technology park at the University of Connecticut’s campus in Storrs laid out a vision for a complex of buildings that could eventually encompass nearly a million square feet.

The first building — funded by $170 million in state bond money — is expected to contain 125,000 square feet of research space, laboratories and business incubator space. It is expected to open in 2015.

I hope this project does not ruin the rural character of the area. The renderings look awful. It would be a real travesty to have ultra modern buildings blighting the landscape.
