A 66-unit mid-rise apartment building in Waterbury has sold for $1.7 million by a New York investor, according to the broker involved in the transaction.

Westview House Apartments on Hillside Avenue was purchased for nearly $26,500 a unit by Laui LLC from Waterbury Carlton Apartments of Waterbury.

Northeast Private Client Group, with Connecticut offices in Hartford and Bridgeport, was the sole broker in the transaction.

    Imus house sold for 10 x the entire 66 using apartment house. That means each apartment is worth about 1/600 of Imus house. Waterbury is incredibly depressed, like Mogudishu
