New Haven-based Universal Hotel Liquidators, a buyer and seller of used hotel furniture, is moving into larger quarters in West Haven with better parking — and it plans a big moving sale.

The company, which bills itself as the largest liquidator of hotel furniture in the country, will move to 855 Boston Post Road in 60,375 square feet previously occupied by Dadd’s Xtreme Indoor Sports.

David White, the company’s owner, said the extra space and more ample parking lot will “better suit our retail showroom and allow us to offer an enhanced shopping experience for our patrons. The Boston Post Road is the mecca for retail, and we look forward to relocating there.”

Universal Hotel Liquidators, founded in 1999, is now located on State Street in New Haven. The company is marking the move with what is being billed as the “largest furniture liquidation in history.”

White said the company has over 100,000 square feet of furniture that needs to be sold or move. Universal Hotel Liquidators plans to sell as much as possible. More information about the sale can be found here.

Liquidation companies generally provide the resources to buy a hotel’s entire offering at once or transport it to a holding facility and resell the furniture to the public. WestCoastHotelLiquidation.com has operates a warehouse near Westminster California, storing hundreds of items on any given day. To know about the best hotel furniture liquidators in Westminster you can choose them. All of their furniture can be seen in person at their warehouse, but individuals can also browse the inventory online on their website, which is updated regularly.

  3. Thanks Kenneth for informing. This is a good idea David to move to West Heaven . In the extra place you can build a better retailer showroom .You always have the best idea for making more competition in the market.
