New Perk For Hartford’s TheaterWorks Patrons

by Categorized: Downtown Hartford Date:

Patrons of Hartford’s TheaterWorks will soon get a new perk: free parking.

TheaterWorks will announce today that AT&T Connecticut is donating use of a 60-space parking lot the telecommunications company owns at Ann Uccello and Hicks streets during performances at the Pearl Street theater.

The lot is expected to be opening for patron parking by Nov. 1, if not earlier, the theater told me today. More details will be sent to subscribers in an email.

Currently, patrons pay $5 to park in either the CityPlace garage or the open-air “Q-Lot” on Asylum Street.

AT&T does not currently use the lot, and it has not been open to the general public for parking.
