Real estate broker Northeast Private Client Group has expanded its property management business in the Hartford area in an acquisition.

Northeast acquired the Hartford property management business of Washington, D.C.-based Redbrick Partners. Redbrick has been shedding its apartment holdings in the state in recent years and no longer needed to have its own property management business, said Edward Jordan, the Northeast’s managing director.

Jordan said Redbrick once owned 1,000 apartment units in Connecticut, but now has less than 100, all in Hartford, Jordan said.

Northeast will manage Redbrick’s remaining properties and work to further expand its property management business, Jordan said.
