Simsbury Bank Relocates Headquarters To Larger Space
The parent of Simsbury Bank is moving its headquarters to a larger building in Simsbury, having outgrown the space it has occupied for the past 12 years.
SBT Bancorp, Inc. has leased 22,300 square feet of office space at 86 Hopmeadow St., a more than 50 percent increase from the 14,400 square feet the bank occupies at 760 Hopmeadow St.

“While 760 Hopmeadow St. has served us well over the past 12 years, we have outgrown it and also need space to accommodate our growth over the next five years,” Martin J. Geitz, the bank’s president and chief executive, said.
The bank will move in two stages because of the timing of space becoming available. In April, mortgage, consumer lending and deposit service teams will move. By late June, space will open up for executive offices, commercial banking, accounting and staff teams.
The building, constructed in 1989, contains 42,000 square feet of prime, Class A space. It is one of two buildings in the Tower Business Park.
Andrew D. Filler of R.M. Bradley Co. represented the bank. Patrick R. Mulready of CBRE represented the building’s owner, Mark Greenberg.
