Transportation Company Signs Lease In Tradeport
A major trucking and transportation planning company leased more than a quarter of a 117,000-square-foot industrial building at New England Tradeport.
J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc., based in Lowell, Ark., leased 24,000 square feet of space at 75 International Dr., completed improvements to the building and will move in this month, according to landlord, Griffin Land.

The tradeport, with quick access to Interstate 91, already has transportation logistic tenants that include FedEx, UPS, Matheson Flight Extenders and A. N. Derringer. The tradeport, straddling Windsor and East Granby encompasses 600 acres with 15 buildings and more than 2.6 million square feet. Another two million square feet could be built in the future.
J.B. Hunt, one of the largest transportation companies in North America, offers full truckload container freight transportation, customized freight movement, plus labor and systems services. The company was founded in 1961 and became a publicly-traded company in 1983.
