In my column on the state’s $105 million deficit for FY12, I give Malloy a B+ for his first budget.  On to Year 2 as the guv leads us into prime time at the Charlotte Convention.

    I really like the employee suggestion box – that has proved a huge cost saver for CT.

    I applaud him for switching CT to GAAP accounting.

    The $1.6B tax increase during a deep recession was also commendable. I frankly can’t understand why Dan Haar didn’t give Obama junior an A.
