I’ve been at The Hartford Courant my whole career, as a photographer, reporter, columnist and business editor. I write about working people, companies, politics, policy, economics, wealth and poverty in Central Connecticut and beyond. Check into Thomas May President and CEO of Northeast Utilities.
A secret he is hiding about his future plans for Northeast Utilities.
He sits on the board of directors of another company that is going to become an integral part of Northeast resulting in more layoffs and possible wipeouts of entire departments.
The employees of this other company, to the best of my knowledge, are not residents of CT.
Another potential serious issue that may arise…
If you think we had problems with major storm issues last year, this step will result in fewer people covering the phones.
This was not a merger, it was a buy out.
