I must have missed something here but the rumors that began months ago are apparently true.

Former WFSB  anchor al Terzi is joining Fox CT.

Terzi, the popular silver-haired, tv news stalwart who has worked at several CT stations, hit a contact wall in February with the Rocky Hill-based station and left, a departure that had his stellar audience wondering what’s next?http://bit.ly/zeT3w5

Terzi, who celebrated 50 years in the business earlier this year (he turns 70 in October, )  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3-DcTxHQxg   was seen poking around Fox Ct weeks after that , but supposedly did not make a deal. Apparently he has.

Funny thing is there has been no announcement other than a mega two-page ad on A6 and 7 in Sunday’s  Courant stating he is “now on Fox Ct News.”

No idea when he started, what newscasts he is on or how the current anchor line-up is being shaken up with his addition but will let you know when I do so you can tune in!

P.S. Al and son Tony launched a Saturday radio show at WDRC a few weeks ago. http://bit.ly/RF8wzc

No word on the future of that given dad’s new tv deal.
