Black-Eyed Sally’s, The NE Place To Be At Mardi Gras

jamesMardi Gras is soon upon us and James Varano’s Black-eyed Sally’s has made a special list as one of the best places in New England to celebrate the pre-Lenten holiday on March 4.

The Asylum Street BBQ and blues landmark was named one of the “Top 8″ places to celebrate Mardi Gras in New England by  About.com New England Travel.

The online author, Kim Knox Beckius,  makes mention of Black-eyed Sally’s March 4 Fat Tuesday party that includes the all-you-can- eat Southern lunch buffet, Happy Hour specials, free food, and an evening featuring “N’awlins menu specials” and the well-known  live music. The site also notes there will be, of course, beads, stilt walkers, face painters and more.
