Former U.S. Congressman Rob Simmons’ in-laws are the proud sellers of the “jaw dropping”  “House of the Week” on

Described as a “stately Connecticut gentleman’s farm,” the asking price is $1.95 million.

It’s a 20-acre, and five 20-room, pre-Revolutionary mansion, with eight bedrooms and five  bathrooms. Outbuildings include a guest house, built in the 1890s with six additional bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is also a  “carriage house, pool house, ice house, greenhouse, workshop, pump house, equipment shed, and well house,” plus English gardens and an orchard.

And one last note, “additional acreage is also available, all in close proximity to quaint Stonington village.”
