New Owners At Hartford’s Hot Tomato’s
Hartford’s Hot Tomato’s has new owners.
Brothers Dave DiNeno and Keith DiNeno, (shown with former Bears coach and ESPN personality Mike Ditka who introduced some of his wines there recently) have become the new majority owners.
The two had a minority partnership with former owner, Chris Calvanese.
The new owners plan some changes including a new chef and new menu.
Hot Tomato’s is located at 1 Union Place. Information: 860-249-5100 or hottomatos.net

Any change would have to be a change for the better. VERY disappointed the last couple time I went to Hot Tomato’s. Went with my girl & another couple. We got four different meals & all were sub-par. My girl went back with a group from work, ordered something different & that wasn’t good either.
Hot Tomato’s was one of my favorite spots years ago when Jimmy Cosgrove was the manager. Since his departure their quality has steadily gone down. I hope the new changes return it to its former high standards. Fortunately for Hartford cuisine, Jimmy is currently managing Salute on Trumbull St & it is FANTASTIC.
Mike Ditka’s wines? I can’t wait to see Terry Bradshaw’s menu changes!
