Help For West Hartford Area Skin Coming From Paris

by Categorized: Uncategorized Tagged: , , , Date:

spa1 When West Hartford’s Blue Back Square welcomes the new Delamar to town, there will be more than a 120-room hotel to be excited about.

The proposed hotel, scheduled to break ground in the spring, will also include a serious and very “in” spa. And on Thursday, there was a bit of a sneak peek as to what to expect when it does finally open.

French skin specialist, Dr. Philippe Allouche, whose trendy product line, Biologique Recherche and personalized face treatments will be featured as the spa, came to Connecticut Thursday. He and his team were at the spa at the Delamar, Greenwich Harbor, to introduce the plans and some of the team, including spa supervisor Georgette Mallory, who will be opening the West Hartford spa at the hotel in this part of the state.

“Actually American women probably take better care their skin then the French women do,” said the charming and handsome Paris internist who joined his father and mother’s 30-year-old skin care business and is now president of the company. “American women are getting the idea that skin is the “roof” of the house and needs to be rebuilt, not traumatized,” he said. His fan list includes a ‘who’s who’ of movie stars, fashionistas and men and women who subscribe to his philosophy that bad skin can be repaired with the right massage techniques and customized care regime.

And as winter approaches…some tips for the weather worn skins we soon face here?

“Don’t use hot water on your skin, it makes it more sensitive,” advised the good doctor. “And at night, a nice thick layer of moisturizer.”
