NBC News special correspondent and award-winning author Tom Brokaw will receive the annual “Ken Burns Lifetime Achievement Award” at a dinner in his honor Nov. 27 at Old Sturbridge Village.

OSV and documentary filmaker Ken Burns present the award each year to an individual who has a made a significant impact on the arts through projects related to history.

Previous winners include actor Sam Waterston, Doris Kearns Goodwin and Laura Linney.

The sold-out event is sponsored by Fallon Community Health Plan.
