“Twinkle Toes” Greenberg Does ESPN Proud With DWTS Trebunskaya

It was payback time for Mike Greenberg of ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike in the Morning Tuesday. And he did it with his feet.

The show co-host, who lost the annual college basketball  “Mike and Mike Sheets of Integrity Challenge” to co-host Mike Golic, put on one stretchy, form-fitting, bedazzled dance outfit and paired up with ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Anna Trebunskaya for a live performance at the Bristol campus.

“I’m just scared,” said Greenberg as he trotted out for the 87-second dance to “La Vida Loca” with the  DWTS star.

And if getting through a dance in front a live audience wasn’t enough pressure, there were the panel of judges, former professional football wide receivers and DWTS contestants, Jerry Rice, who danced with Trebunskaya in Season 11 and Hines Ward, who won Season 12., as well as Greenberg’s wife, Stacy.

“I just hope he gets through it still standing up,” she said.

And of course, if that wasn’t enough pressure, the bosses were there too, including ESPN president John Skipper.

But no worries for Twinkle Toes Greeny. Greenberg didn’t drop his partner and together they pulled a score of 25 for the performance and a lot of applause from the enthusiastic audience.
