West Hartford’s Reuben’s Closing Today For A Makeover

If you planned a weekend  gnosh at West Hartford’s Reuben’s Delicatessen on LaSalle Road, forget about it.

The place will be temporarily closed.

According to owner Brian Hersh, there will be a new vibe, a new bar, new dinner and a new name when Reuben’s reopens.

The new name? Thirty5 (Reuben’s is located at 35 LaSalle Road, get it? ) but it will still be Reuben’s when it comes to the breakfast and lunch deli food that has been served there since it opened  a couple of years ago. But the new component will include redecorated space, dinner, bar and some more West Hartford night life. 

No date set yet for the grand reopening. But if you want that one last pastrami sandwich before it closes for renovations, get down soon. It closes at the end of the day today.
